Laboratories and centers are equipped with modern measuring devices, among which there is a unique equipment such as chromatographs and viscometers, measuring thermal and rheological properties, spectrophotometers, analyzers, food quality, which allows to carry out research on a high scientific level.

Also a laboratories at the departments functions that are constantly updated with funds that come from contracts and sponsorship. In these laboratories are conducted as research, preparation of doctoral and master's work and implementation of theses and masters.

Research sector is actively cooperating both with the countries of CIS and also with foreign countries: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, USA, Tunisia, etc.
