Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade   is a participant in the Bologna Process. The signing of the Charter of the Universities is not just a formal act, but recognition of the achievements of the University and its high ranking among higher education institutions of Ukraine.

Training at the Kharkiv State University of Nutrition and Trade is carried out based on:

  • international treaties of Ukraine;
  • national programs;
  • contracts concluded with legal entities and individuals.

Guided by the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons" dated September 22, 2011, № 3773-YI, the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" dated 01.07.2014 № 1556-YII, Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of 01.11.2013 № 1541 "Procedure for the recruitment and training (internship) of foreigners and stateless persons (as amended), the Law of Ukraine "On Foreign Ukrainians" dated March 04, 2004 № 1582-IV, the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 28, 2012 № 251 "On approval of the procedure for the registration, production and issuance of a permanent residence permit and a temporary residence permit and a technical description of forms "Resolution of CMU dated 27.08.2010 g. № 796 "On approving the list of paid services that may be granted by educational institutions, other institutions and educational institutions belonging to the state and municipal property"; "Procedure for the provision of paid educational services by state and municipal educational institutions", approved by the order of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine dated July 23, 2010 № 736/902/758, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 13, 2013, № 185 "On Unified State the demographic register and documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine, certify the person or his special status".

Foreigners who receive state scholarships according to international agreements, national programs, and other international obligations of Ukraine are admitted to study based on the directions of the Ministry of Education and Science within the scope of the state order.

Foreigners of Ukrainian descent, directed to study by Ukrainian national-cultural societies, enjoy the same rights to education as citizens of Ukraine if they were the participants in international competitions on general subjects, entrance examinations of which were determined by the University as a profile for entry into the chosen specialty.

Foreigners and stateless persons who permanently reside in Ukraine, or who have been granted a refugee status in Ukraine, are admitted to higher education institutions according to the prescribed rules for the citizens of Ukraine.

Foreigners who have completed general secondary education in foreign schools with a Ukrainian language of instructionare admitted to the University passing entrance examinations provided by the Admission Rules within the established quotas based on the recommendations of the national cultural Ukrainian societies and diplomatic institutions of Ukraine abroad.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not fall under the above Rules, are enrolled for studying at higher educational institutions on the basis of an interview and  an agreement with the University.
